GPO 37 MIRROR GALVANOMETER, 1954

Galvanometer unit for use with other test gear.
May have originally come from Dollis Hill Laboratories.
And may have been made by H.W.Sullivan Ltd in 1954.

Your comments:

  • This collection of instruments was probably put together by Post Office engineers. The device at top right in the wooden case, is a reflecting galvanometer made by HW Sullivan Ltd up until the late 1960s. Can't identify the device at top left, but the gold lacquered brass terminals and polished Keramot terminal posts are definitely Sullivan.

FYI I manufactured these parts on a capstan lathe at Sullivans in the early 1960s
