Helmets worn during World War Two by a section known as the Special Fire Patrol. The style was introduced as a general civilian helmet during 1941

Styled on the early British medieval helmet.

  • SFP is also known to represent 'Street Fire party', replaced later by the title 'Fire guard' These helmets are known as 'Zuckerman' helmets; presumebly from their designer.
