Made by Ericsson of Sweden and sold in this country via Post Office Telephones, as the risk of de-monopolising the GPO by the Government got closer.

Your comments:

  • This phone was notorious in Sweden because if you had to go and find the person wanted by the caller you put the phone down on it's base, and cut the caller off by mistake! If you were the caller cut off, you knew they had an Ericofon at the other end.

    I bought one in Sweden before the UK liberalized telephone sales.
