  • An identical instrument was found in the items from my Grandfather's estate in the 1980's. It had been used at Guy's Hospital in London originaly for treatment of the paralysis occasionaly caused when using chloroform as an anasthetic. Powered from a wet cell contained in the wooden box along with electrodes of different types including sponge, soft wire brush and metal cup-shaped options.
