GPO TELEPHONE 746F, 1960's

Replaced the 300 series style in 1967 after the 706 pattern,introduced in 1959. Various improvements had been made although the appearance is similar.

• The 706 Field Trial(which had gold arrowhead figures,instead of numbers on the dial,as a dial ring with the alphanumeric ring was used) was the replacement for the 300 series.The 746 replaced the later version of the 706.
