FRENCH DUMPY CANDLESTICK TELEPHONE, 1941

Made in France by CH Milde Fils & Cie and known as a French Candlestick.
Telephone Model 1941.

Your comments:

  • This wartime telephone, marked BCI 1941, was a cheaper version of the 1924 set which had "ornated" French homes for years. After the war, both were superseded by modern Bakelite phones. The original dial was fitted with a black metal disc, and all cords were straight.
