REVOPHONE CRYSTAL SET AND HEADPHONES, 1923

The Revophone Crystal Set 1923 Cost £2-10s Royalty was extra at 7s-6d. Its wooden box with hinged lid is in excellent condition, inside are two knobs and the crystal holder.

• I have had one of these sets now for about 6 months. I did not realise that they were manufactured in Tipton in the West Midlands three miles from where I now live. alas most of the local stations you could pick up in the 40s and 50s have now gone. though you can still pick up radio 5 live radio4 and talk sport with ease with good volume. so some nights I just sit in my bedroom put on the headphones listen. and let the rest of the world go by and it is all free then sometimes think about my childhood oh Happy Days
