GEC ALL WAVE SUPER SIX, circa 1937

The GEC Universal All Wave Super Six Receiver was introduced in 1937, and has a dual linear motion drive scale with fine and coarse tuning, with Long Wave, Medium Wave, and Short Wave bands from 19 metres to 5.51 Metres. A 'magic eye' is provided to help with tuning strength, can work on a range of voltages from 190 to 250 volts AC mains 40/100 cycles. This is a superhet design with the following list of valves. W63 -X41 - W63 -DH63- Y63 Tuning Indicator -KT63 and U50 Rectifier, built into a wooden case.
