TANDBERG MODEL 6 TAPE DECK of 1963

Tandberg Model Six Reel to Reel Tape deck required, a stereo amplifier or headphones for playback, as this was not included in these units. It had one motor for all functions and could take up to seven inch reels, had three speeds and was quarter track recording stereo forward and again backwards, i.e., four tracks, the tape had to be turned over for the other two tracks. The valve complement was 4 X ECC83, 3 X ECC82, 2 X ECC81 and two EAM86 recording level indicators for left and right channels.
