GLOW BABY BED WARMER, circa 1955

Bed warmer from the 1950's, simply a wire cage around a 100-Watt light bulb. Considered extremely dangerous today, at the time if used correctly not so much of a problem. The unit had to be removed from the bed before getting in, as there was not enough room for both. Can also be used as an air dryer, as the wire cage protects the sheets, separating them from the light bulb. On the unit it says it was distributed by Bradley & Burch Ltd, not made by!, the maker being probably a small manufacture who is not allowed to be mentioned by the distributor.
