STERLING 'PRIMAX' INTERNAL TELEPHONES U453 & U454, 1920's

Sterling 'Primax' internal telephones for homes and offices. Required only two or up to ten units wires and a battery, a separate battery would have been needed to power these units it is unlikely that a mains power supply would have been available at the time when these were made. The Sterling Telephone & Electric Co Ltd started in 1899 until they were taken over by the Marconiphone Company in1926; they went on to make Sterling machine guns. See Item A0931 and A0955.
