ELECTRIC FIRE, 1908

One of the very first electric fires. The lamps were made by Osram. With spare lamp. The Spare is made by Robertson.

• The "Osram" lamps are unlikely to be the original lamps as the name "Osram" didn't become commercially used until 1919. Robertson lamps (produced by the "GEC") date from c.1893 and this is therefore more likely to be one of the original lamps.
